We realized we haven’t properly introduced ourselves since making the big move from Tucson, so here’s the scoop:

We’re Dustin & Autumn, the husband-and-wife team behind This & That Contracting Services. We’ve been partners in life since 2009, proud parents of three amazing adult kids, and soon-to-be grandparents! 👶❤️

Our business started in Tucson in 2021, and after three incredible years, we took a leap of faith — sold our home, packed up shop, and moved across the state to chase our dream. That dream? A cute little A-frame with land near the Hualapai Mountains.

Dustin, once an A&P Mechanic in aviation, found his true calling in residential renovations & custom home improvements. Me? I’m Autumn — the behind-the-scenes multitasker, project wrangler, and occasional job-site sidekick.

While we are new to the Kingman area, we are not new to Arizona. Dustin grew up in AZ, has lived in various cities and rural towns throughout the state, and has family in Mohave County. I (Autumn) was born and raised in Tucson, AZ, and that’s where Dustin and I met in 2009. When we decided we wanted to leave the city and relocate our home and business, it didn’t take long for us to discover that leaving Arizona wasn’t really an option for us. We’re both desert dwellers at heart. 🏜️

Remember those antique door knobs that came with the #kingman house? They were absolutely gorgeous but had some functionality issues. 😢

We found these vintage look glass knobs and fell in love. Dustin installed one just to make sure it would fit and to give us an idea of what it would look like. Now I can’t wait to paint this door! 🚪
